Beaded Retaining Ring

Ensure a smoother and more professional flag display with our Beaded Retaining Ring for Flagpoles. Designed primarily for internal halyard flagpoles, this essential accessory keeps the halyard and bottom of the flag close to the pole, helping prevent flapping, tangling, and excessive strain during operation.
When used with an internal halyard system, the retaining ring is typically attached below the flag and paired with an appropriately sized counterweight (sold separately). This setup keeps the halyard properly tensioned against the pole, allowing the flag to raise and lower smoothly while reducing noise and wear in windy conditions.
Beaded retaining rings can also be used with large multi-grommet flags on both internal and some external halyard flagpoles. In these applications, the ring helps keep the flag closer to the pole and reduces stress on the flag’s grommets during use.
Each retaining ring is constructed with durable nylon beads strung onto 1/8″ stainless steel aircraft cable for long-lasting performance in outdoor environments. Stainless steel thimbles and fittings provide additional strength and corrosion resistance. A stainless steel quick link or bow shackle allows for secure attachment to the halyard and counterweight assembly.
Installation is simple: wrap the retaining ring around the flagpole and attach it to the halyard system using the included hardware.

Beads are constructed from 1″, 1.5″, or 2″ nylon balls, depending on the ring size and configuration.
