Premium Nylon

Vibrant, Lightweight & Quick-Drying

Nylon is the industry favourite for outdoor flags. It flies in light breezes, dries quickly after rain, and holds rich, UV-resistant colour.

  • 210D Nylon: The standard for our premium printed flags.
  • 200D Nylon: The standard for our premium sewn and appliqué flags.
  • 70D Nylon: High-tenacity and ultra-lightweight. Flies in the softest breeze, washes clean in rain, and meets minimum Government of Canada specifications. Limited Availalbity.

Best For: Everyday home or business displays in light-to-stong wind.

Durability & Life Expectancy: Premium Nylon typically lasts 3 to 4 times longer than economy polyester flags. Nylon flags tend to show wear first at the fly end (the outer edge), which means they can easily be re-hemmed and repaired to significantly extend the flag’s lifespan.

Knitted Polyester

Strong, Wind-Permeable & Tear-Resistant

Engineered with an open-weave design, knitted polyester lets wind pass through to reduce fraying and stress on edges. Colours bleed through fully for bold dual-sided visibility.

  • Trade-off: The loose weave attracts airborne dirt easily. Not recommended for polluted or industrial areas.

Best For: High-wind areas, street banners, and feather flags.

Durability & Life Expectancy: Tends to last roughly twice as long as economy polyester flags. However, knitted polyester fades faster than nylon and is prone to tearing or splitting near the middle of the flag, which makes repairs impossible once failure occurs.

Economy Polyester

Budget-Friendly, Bright & Lightweight

A cost-effective option display that flies with minimal wind.

  • Trade-off: Designed for short-term display rather than long term flying.

Best For: Trade shows, indoor displays, giveaways, and temporary outdoor events.

Durability & Life Expectancy: Tends to fade quickly compared to other flag fabrics and cannot withstand severe weather or extreme winds without tearing prematurely.

Heavy-Duty Polyester

Often Called Tough-tex or Bunting, this Material is Engineered for Maximum Strength in Extreme Weather

Engineered with a heavy, canvas-like feel, this double-spun material handles harsh winds, and daily punishment where other fabrics fail.

  • Trade-off: Needs higher wind speeds to fly fully due to its heavy weight. Colours are limited to white and red.

Best For: High-wind coastal zones, open fields, and 24/7 commercial flagpoles.

Durability & Life Expectancy: The longest-lasting material available. Designed specifically for continuous 24/7 exposure and harsh conditions, offering maximum resistance to edge fraying but susceptible to UV colour fading.
