Tamper-Proof Internal Halyard Security

The Econoline system features an internal halyard composed of durable plastic chain connected to high-strength stainless steel cable. The halyard is accessed via a flush-mounted locking door on the lower shaft, secured by a dedicated lock and key set (2 keys included). This design protects your flag from unauthorized removal or vandalism. The system includes a weighted retaining loop and flag extension cable to keep the flag taut against the shaft during operation.

Cone-Tapered Aluminum Shaft & Heavy-Duty W-1 Brackets

Engineered from high-grade aluminum, each pole features a structural cone-tapered profile (utilizing 5″, 6″, or 7″ base outer diameters depending on height) to distribute wind loads evenly.

The system comes complete with a pair of Ewing’s robust W-1 Wall Brackets, sized specifically to match the pole’s base diameter and hold the flagpole securely parallel to brick, concrete, or masonry building surfaces.

Bracket Spacing & Installation Guidelines:

For optimal structural support and safety, ensure the two W-1 wall brackets are installed with proper vertical spacing according to your selected pole height:

• 12′ to 20′ Poles: Minimum bracket spacing of 18″.
• 25′ & 30′ Poles: Minimum bracket spacing of 24″ to 36″.
• 35′ & 40′ Poles: Minimum bracket spacing of 48″ to 60″.
