The Ewing Group of Companies began in 1845 as a blacksmith shop under John Ewing in Toronto, expanding into mobile welding and metal fabrication services after being acquired by Mr. George Armour Myles and his sons at the turn of the century. They quickly grew, adding diverse operations including flagpole manufacturing and heavy steel fabrication.
By the early 2000s, the company relocated to Whitby, ON and introduced a new division for traffic and lighting products. Today, the Flag Shop is proud to work with Ewing Flagpole Co. Inc., to offer extensive cone tapered aluminum flagpole options, backed by Ewing’s strong tradition of family involvement and customer service.
