Cone-Tapered Engineering & Heavy-Duty W-1 Brackets

Built from high-grade aluminum, each pole features a structural cone-tapered profile (utilizing 4″ or 5″ base diameters depending on overall pole length) to distribute wind loads evenly and maintain crisp visual proportions.

The system comes complete with a pair of Ewing’s robust W-1 Wall Brackets, engineered to hold the flagpole securely parallel to brick, concrete, or masonry building surfaces.

• 6″ Ball Finial: Standard with a prominent 6-inch Gold Anodized Aluminum Ball (Clear Anodized Silver available as an option).
• External Halyard & Cleat: Braided Polyester rope paired with a heavy-duty cleat mounted on the wall below the pole (1’6″ from the bottom the pole standard)  for convenient ground-level operation.
• Solid Bronze Flag Snaps: Two bronze snap hooks that resist corrosion and rust.
• Top Pulley Assembly: Smooth fixed single pulley for reliable raising and lowering.

Bracket Spacing & Installation Guidelines:

For optimal structural support and safety, ensure the two W-1 wall brackets are installed with proper vertical spacing according to your selected pole height:

• 12′ to 20′ Poles: Minimum bracket spacing of 18″.
• 25′ & 30′ Poles: Minimum bracket spacing of 24″ to 36″.
• 35′ Poles: Minimum bracket spacing of 48″ to 60″.
