This embroidered badge features the updated and more inclusive Progress Pride Flag, a powerful and widely recognized symbol designed to represent the broader spectrum of identities within the community, with a particular emphasis on trans people and people of colour. Building upon the traditional six-stripe rainbow flag, the Progress Pride Flag incorporates a chevron on the hoist (left) side. The additional colours and their meanings are:

• Black and Brown Stripes: Represent marginalized LGBTQ2S+ communities of colour.
• Light Blue, Pink, and White Stripes: Represent the Transgender Pride Flag.

The original six rainbow stripes retain their meanings:

• Red: Life
• Orange: Healing
• Yellow: Sunlight
• Green: Nature
• Blue: Harmony/Serenity
• Violet (Purple): Spirit

The chevron shape on the left points to the right, symbolizing forward movement and progress, while the placement along the hoist edge indicates that progress still needs to be made. This thoughtful blend of colours and meaningful symbols creates a fabric emblem that vividly articulates the rich spectrum of human identity, acknowledges historical and ongoing struggles for equality, and actively promotes a future of greater inclusion, understanding, and justice for all. However, for the most secure and permanent attachment, especially on garments that will be frequently washed or endure heavy use, sew-on installation is highly recommended.
